CHINA-INTERNAL: LEADERSHIP

The South China Morning Post on December 26, 2015, reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping has become among the most travelled world leaders since he took office in 2012. He visited 14 countries in 2015 alone.

While Xi Jinping's predecessor, Hu Jintao, visited only seven countries during his decade as China’s top leader, Xi Jinping has visited more than 30 countries since 2012. He is the most travelled Chinese leader since the founding of communist China in 1949.
