CHINA-LEADERSHIP: RESHUFFLE IN ECONOMIC ENTITIES

 The China Power New Energy Development announced that 54-year old Li Xiaolin, daughter of former Chinese Premier Li Peng, had resigned on December 30, 2015, as Chairwoman of the company. Li Xiaolin was also Chairwoman of China Power International Development, a sister firm of China Power New Energy Development. The company said that she had resigned as a result of personnel rearrangement by the State Assets Supervision and ­Administration Commission ­(Sasac). Wang Binghua is to take over as Chairman of the company.
