China named Vice Finance Minister Zhu Guangyao to a senior position in the Communist Party’s elite financial and economic panel led by President Xi Jinping, giving him a bigger role in shaping policies to help support growth. 62-year old Zhu Guangyao, is also a Deputy Director of the General Office of the Central Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs, according to an April 28 article published by the Chinese Academy of Governance.
