CHINA-SOCIAL CREDIT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

China's Legal Daily reported on November 15, 2017, that China's Supreme Court had since 2013 prepared a 'black list' of 8.7 million "dishonest" persons as part of the social credit management system. The Supreme Court Executive Director said their 'crimes' varied from the use of various means to transfer, conceal property, and to evade, circumvent and resist. It said the "black list" will be shared with various state organs, social groups,Enterprises and institutions for enforcement of joint disciplinary sanctions which will include imposition of restrictions on travel by plane, high-speed rail, EMU first-class seat, as well as limit loans, credit cards, restrict corporate legal representation, directorships etc.and reduce their living space.  of the person being executed, so that people who are dishonest are "disillusioned and limited everywhere", forcing them to voluntarily fulfill their obligations.
