CHINA-THAILAND: PLAN PARTICIPATES IN FLEET REVIEW

China's indigenously built guided-missile destroyer Zhengzhou (Hull 151) left from the naval port in Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province on November 9, 2017, to participate in the International Fleet Review 2017, to be held in Pattaya Bay, Thailand, to mark the ASEAN's 50th founding anniversary. East Sea Fleet Deputy Commander Rear Admiral Zhi Tianlong is the commander of the destroyer for this task. The Fleet Review will be held in and around Pattaya Bay November 13 to 22, 2017. More than 40 warships and 10,000 naval soldiers from 30 countries are to participate in the fleet review, naval military parade and other activities.
