An article by Chen Meidong in the Renmin Wang of November 27, 2017, expanded on Xi Jinping's remarks in his Work Report to the 19th Party Congress and advanced the proposition that "socialism with Chinese characteristics has broadened the path to modernisation for developing countries". It added that "the world’s nations and leaders who hope both to quicken their development and maintain their independence have been provided with new choices, contributing China's wisdom and the China solution to human problems". He said "The Chinese road gives us the confidence and confidence to demonstrate China's program and wisdom to the world". It also said "China has become the anchor of global stability, adding more certainty to a world full of uncertainty, bringing dawn to prospects of common development". Calling it "The China Solution" he said it had made "a unique contribution to the progress of human civilisation".
