CHINA-TIBET: IDEOLOGICAL EDUCATION

The Tibet Daily publicised on December 23, 2017 that in order to enhance the overall capacity of volunteers in TAR and upgrade the management and  systematization of volunteer service, the Tibet Autonomous Region Culture Bureau held a training class for volunteers in Lhasa that day. Officers-in-charge of Autonomous Region Cultural offices in seven cities, leading cadres of Voluntary service work from 74 counties and nearly 100 person from the 'Study Lei Feng' volunteer service participated in the training. Training revolved around the four aspects of: "In-depth learning and understanding the spirit of the 19th Party Congress", "National Volunteer Service Information System application and management", "Voluntary service work experience exchange and field observation" and "Voluntary service regulations interpretation and prospects". The objective is to further mobilize the various departments of the district to establish perfect professional volunteer service teams, promote volunteers to expand modern social services through traditional people’s service, mutual help and protection in neighborhoods  for poverty alleviation, “entrepreneurship and innovation” activities and so on.
