The Hongkong Free Press Journal reported on February 20, 2018 that a Chinese Weibo user ZhuoLawyera6j_ – a former lawyer in Shandong province -- had been fined and detained for 10 days after criticising 92-year-old Huang Xuhua, a top former nuclear scientist hailed as “the Father of Chinese Nuclear Submarines, who purportedly did not return home for 30 years in order to protect technological secrets. He called Huang Xuhua an “unfilial bastard” for not returning home. He wrote on CCTV's tribute “The old bastard Huang Xuhua who did not contact his parents for 30 years comes out shamelessly again!”
