The new Cabinet announced by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on March 19 at the NPC, included Wang Yi as Foreign Minister, 1954-born former Commander of the PLA Rocket Force Wei Fenghe as Defence Minister, Han Zheng, Sun Chunlan, Hu Chunhua and Liu He as Vice Premiers, Zhao Kezhi as Minister of Public Security, and US-educated former Vice Governor of the People's Bank of China (PBoC) Yu Gang as Governor of PBoC. Yu Gang received a doctorate in Economics from the University of Illinois and is seen as a reformer who supports market oriented reform.
