i) Xinhua (April 16) reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping met German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on April 16, in Beijing. The state-owned CCTV reported (April 16) that after their meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping took a walk with German Chancellor Scholz, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on a wide range of issues. Sholz was accompanied by senior executives from many large German companies, including Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, Bayer and BMW.
