Internship
Purpose The internship is primarily intended for research scholars working on China and Tibet and for students, interested in gaining knowledge about the China’s Internal Politics, China’s Leadership, China's Strategic Goals, China's Tibet Policy and the current developments in Tibet. The program will not only help them gain work experience, but also equip them with research, writing and other organizational skills as well as give them exposure to high-quality scholarship which can sustain their interest enough to encourage them to take up higher studies on China and Tibet. CCAS accepts applications all through the year; further details of which are given below. PayIndian interns will be paid a modest stipend while foreign interns are expected to arrive with support from their home institutions. DurationInterns are expected to apply for minimum three months to maximum six months' time. AccommodationAlthough the Institute does not provide accommodation, it can help the Interns/Visiting Fellows find the same. QualificationsApplicants should have completed their graduation or be engaged in a master’s degree programme in Chinese or Tibetan studies and knowledge of either Chinese or Tibetan language is mandatory.
