China's official media front-paged commemorative articles on April 15 on the occasion of the late popular Party General Secretary Hu Yaobang's birth centenary. Separately, at an economic thought forum, Hu Yaobang's son Hu Deping maintained that his father's significant contributions on the major questions of defining socialism and constructing socialism in China have not yet been studied sufficiently.
