CHINA-INTERNAL: CAMPAIGN AGAINST CORRUPTION

 Confirming that Xi Jinping's campaign against corruption is not slowing down, the state-owned English-language China Daily quoted a CDIC announcement to report on June 17, 2015, that Long Zenglai, Board Chairman and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) chief of the state-owned China Investment Securities, has been removed from office following a graft investigation. The CDIC also the same day posted criticism of six more major state-owned enterprises after inspections uncovered corruption and discipline violations.

Meanwhile, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) also announced on June 17, 2015, that three officials in Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are being investigated for allegedly accepting bribes in separate cases..
