CHINA-US RELATIONS

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on 23 April met a 9-member US House Delegation visiting China and led by US House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. The US House delegation's visit to China was apparently timed to coincide with Obama's visit to Japan. Referring to the "huge potential" in cooperation and shared mutual interests which he described as larger than any differences, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang asserted that "dialogue, cooperation and trust are important as the countries tackle areas of disagreement".
