PLA Budget

The People's Liberation Army (PLA)'s budget for 2014 will increase by 10% to an estimated 792 billion yuan (US$130.6 billion) according to Want China Times. China's national defense budget in 2013 was 720 billion yuan (US$118.7 billion). Chinese analysts state that the country's budget will rise by about 10% this year and will maintain a consistent 10% increase for the next five years.
