Chinese state television on April 19, 2016, reported that Huang Yu, a Chinese computer technician from Sichuan has been sentenced to death for leaking more than 150,000 classified documents to an unidentified foreign power.It said Huang Yu had worked for a government department which handled state secrets. He used to have meetings in south-east Asia and Hong Kong, when he handed over 150,000 documents, covering secrets ranging from everything from the ruling Communist party to military and financial issues. He was arrested in 2011.
