The 10th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, which closed on 3 May, saw deals signed worth Rmb13.8bn (USD2.2bn). The six-day event in Hangzhou City had a record 1.36 million people coming in. Twelve industry trade and exchange activities were put together and over 400 animation-related products were launched. A record 602 firms and groups coming from 74 countries took part.
