CHINA-INTERNAL: LAW & ORDER/TERRORISM

An explosion occurred in 'Dicos' a fast-food restaurant in central Anda city, Heilongjiang province on June 9, 2014. The police were able to evacuate the premises as they received a telephonic warning four minutes before the explosion. No civilian casualties were reported and police said they suspected "revenge" to be the motivation.

China Central Television reported that the police confirmed that an explosive device was left on the stairway leading to the first floor, and that they had an image of the suspect. 'Heilongjiang Morning Post' said that a witness who saw a man placing the bomb in the restaurant had alerted restaurant staff who called the police.
