CHINA-INDIA: INDIAN PRIME MINISTER MODI MEETS CHINESE PRESIDENT XI JINPING (APRIL 27-28, 2018)

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi travbelled to Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, for an "informal" meting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on April 27-28, 2018. Chinese officials described it as Xi Jinping's first such "informal" meeting in China. The meeting had no agenda and it was clarified there would be no joint statement. The meeting came amidst severe strain on the India-China relations and when relations were spiralling downward.
