The following senior appointments were publicised by the CCP CC Organisation Department in early May: (i) Mu Hong (穆虹) was appointed Deputy Secretary of the National Development and Reform Commission’s Party Committee; (ii)  Wu Yansheng (吴燕生) appointed Chairman of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation; (iii) Tan Ruisong (谭瑞松) appointed Chairman of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China and Secretary of its Party Committee; (iv)  Li Shushen (李树深) appointed President of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; (v)  Yang Jinlong (杨金龙) and Du Jiangfeng (杜江峰) appointed Vice Presidents of the University of Science and Technology of China; and (vi)   Lu Erxue (吕尔学) was appointed deputy head of the Civil Aviation Administration of China and a member of its Party Committee.
