The website of the Chinese Tibetan Department of Advanced Buddhist College on May 11, 2018 reported on a conference of Party members held by the College the previous day to convey and study the “Notice on Conducting the Special Work on the Party’s Style and Incorruptible Politics” focusing on the use of the “first form” by the Central United Front Work Department. Wang Longyu, secretary of the party group, made a mobilization speech.The meeting emphasised the importance of fully understanding the importance of carrying out special education on the Party's work style and clean government.It emphasised “using the first form,” (运用好第一种形态) of discipline and supervision. The first form is the normalization of the frequent use of criticism and self-criticism. The meeting asserted that Party members must implement the college’s plan for an honest and clean Party environment, correct mistakes promptly, and “prevent a minor sickness from becoming a serious illness.” It said it is necessary to criticise Party members and all faculty members, correct mistakes promptly, grasp early,and prevent minor illnesses from becoming serious problems.
