CHINA-SOVEREIGNTY: CAAC INSISTS FOREIGN AIRLINES MUST DEPICT TAIWAN, HONGKONG, MACAU ETC AS PART OF

Following the directive issued on April 25 by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to 36 airlines to depict Taiwan, Hongkong and Macau as part of China within 30 days or face the consequences including legal sanctions, the Associated Press found on May 22, that 20 carriers, including Air Canada, British Airways and Lufthansa, now refer to Taiwan as a part of China on their global websites.
