Zeng Wei and Jiang Mei, son and daughter-in-law of former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Committee (CC) Politburo Standing Committee member, Zeng Qinghong, bought a 106-year old home in 2008 called Craig-y-Mor in Sydney valued at 32.4 million Australian dollars (about US$30 million).
They recently obtained permission from a state judge to demolish the two-story brick house and replace it, at a cost of $4.5 million, with a five-level modern concrete structure with huge windows.
