CHINA-INTERNAL: ALL CHINA TRUCK DRIVERS STRIKE

Taiwan News reported on June 11, 2018 that mass protests were staged by truck drivers across 9 provinces and municipalities in China to  voice their anger over high costs, decreasing wages, excessive highway tolls, changing government policies and police harassment. Reports said some truck drivers shouted "overthrow the CPC". The strike began on June 8 in Xiushui County (修水县), Jiangxi Province (江西省) and quickly spread to Shandong Province (山东省). Strikes are still underway in Anhui (安徽), Guizhou (è²´å·ž), Hubei (湖北), Jiangxi (江西), Shandong (山東) and Zhejiang (浙江) provinces and the Chongqing (重慶) and Shanghai municipalities (上海).
Radio Free Asia posted a video of the striking truck drivers.Official Chinese media or government departments are yet to comment.
