CHINA-CIVIL AVIATION: 'RECTIFICATION' OF DESTINATIONS

At a press conference on August 10, Gu Xiaohong, Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), said that as of July 25, among the 44 airlines, 40 completed the rectification (depiction of Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan) and the remaining four submitted a rectification report to the CAAC on July 25, indicating that the rectification is being carried out, and the CAAC is invited to review its official website two weeks later. At present, the relevant departments of the CAAS are reviewing and appraising the rectification of the relevant airlines' official website.

(Comment: August 9 is the deadline for the four US airlines to apply for delayed rectification.)
