A National Conference on Vocational Education ws held in Beijing (June 23-24, 2014) where both, President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang spoke. As finding jobs for graduates becomes progressively difficult in China, the country's leadership has apparently begun promoting vocational schools which went into eclipse in the 1980s but could now see more funds being allotted to them.
