CHINA-INTERNAL: NEW REVISED REGULATIONS FOR PARTY DISCIPLINE

On August 26, 2018 the CCP CC issued new revised 'Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China'. Included in the new regulations are that (i) Party members must not “spread rumors or damage the Party’s unity” or speak out against Central policies or decisions; (ii) that Party members who believe in religion should leave the Party if thought education does not change their beliefs; and (iii)  failure to implement government policies is now a discipline violation.
