US prosecutors on October 3, filed a 32-page document in New York charging former Hong Kong Minister Patrick Ho Chi-ping with bribery and illegally selling weapons to Libya, Qatar and possibly South Sudan in 2015. He has additionally been charged with bribing UNGA President John Ashe, Ashe’s successor, Sam Kutesa, who is Uganda’s foreign minister and others.
