CHINA-INTERNAL: WANG HUNING ADDRESSES 17th CONGRESS OF ACFTU

Addressing the 17th Congress of the 300-million All China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) on October 22, Politburo member Wang Huning said the "country’s worker class should….unswervingly follow the Party’s leadership.” He also asked workers to focus on technological innovation saying "we must firmly grasp core technologies in our own hands.” He concluded by saying "Let us unite closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core ... and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation struggle!"
