A young man in his 20s named Drugkho was reported by Radio Free Asia on December 9, to have self-immolated on December 8 in Ngaba county. The self-immolator belonged to Soruma Village in the same county.

(Comment: This is the third instance of self-immolation by a Tibetan in Tibet this year.)
