CHINA-INTERNAL: LEADERSHIP-- MAO ON 'PROTRACTED WAR'

On the occasion of the  80th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s speeches, the state-run People’s Publishing House decided to republish the collection of speeches that Mao Zedong gave in 1938. The publishers, according to reports, were surprised by the demand for especially Mao's speech on 'Protracted War' which they brought out under the title "Re-reading On Protracted War'. They raised the initial print order of 10,000 to 30,000 additional copies and subsequently another 50,000 more. The demand has increased because of Trump's trade war with China.
