Panchen Lama Attends Religious Activities in Tibet

The 11th Panchen Lama, Gyaltsen Norbu visited monasteries in Jokhang and Sera in Lhasa, TAR on 2 -4th of July. He also met CPPCC members of the Tibet Autonomous Region at Lhasa. "As CPPCC members, we should work together on national development and people's interest in Tibet", he said. Panchen Lama, Gyaltsen Norbu is a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee and vice president of the Buddhist Association of China.
