China's Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi announced at a media briefing on April 19, that China will host the second Belt and Road Forum from April 25 to April 27 in Beijing. He said it will be the “most important” diplomatic event in China this year. President Xi Jinping will give the opening speech at the forum, and 37 top overseas government officials have confirmed their attendance.
