CHINA-US: CHINA THREATENS TO RETALIATE AND BLACKLIST U.S. COMPANIES

Gao Feng, spokesman for China's Ministry of Commerce, stated during a briefing in Beijing on May 30, that “The U.S. keeps escalating the trade tensions, and makes various tricks, which has severely hurt the trade talks.” He also said “Whether the China-U.S. trade talks can make any progress largely hinges on the U.S. attitude and sincerity.” In addition, Gao Feng warned that China will establish a list of so-called “unreliable" entities and set up a mechanism listing foreign enterprises, organizations and individuals that don’t obey market rules, violate contracts and block, cut off supply for non-commercial reasons or severely damage the legitimate interests of Chinese companies, adding that "Necessary measures will be taken" against those on the list.
