CHINA-INTERNAL: LEADERSHIP ANTI-CORRUPTION CAMPAIGN
BBC's monitoring service on July 25, reported that former Chairman of the Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region and subsequently Director of the National Energy Administration, Nur Bekri was put on trial in Shenyang where he pleaded guilty to charges of taking bribes valued at 79.1m yuan (11.51m US dollars) in money and assets 'in exchange of contracting projects, promoting products and offering preferential policies' in all his posts from 1998-2018.
