CHINA-HONGKONG: HONGKONG PROTESTERS CLAIM THEY ARE RECEIVING DEATH THREATS
The Hongkong Free Press on August 16, reported that several Hongkong protesters had received death threats from anonymous persons. They quoted some of the protesters as saying the threats were received on their Facebook accounts or through posters with their addresses and names near their homes. Among the individuals quoted receiving death threats are Leung Yiu-ting, acting president of the Education University’s Student Union and Pang Ka-ho, a former external vice president of the University of Hong Kong Student Union.
