The CCP CC's Organisation Department confirmed on July 18 that it had been decided to remove Han Xiancong, Vice Chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, from his post for "suspected serious discipline and law violation", an euphemism for corruption.
