CHINA-LEADERSHIP: XI JINPING IN SHANGHAI

Chinese President travelled to Shanghai for the Second China International Import Expo (CIIE) where French President Macron is the guest of honour. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Michael Holness and Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brna Beach (Ana Brnabić) are also attending the opening ceremony of the second Expo. The Chinese language media said Xi Jinping will certainly use this opportunity to persuade them that China can resist the pressure to have a future. They added that the U.S. is closely watching what Xi Jinping will say in the speech he is also scheduled to deliver.
