Chinese Vice Premier Liu He is scheduled to visit Washington, US from January 13-16, 2020. Separately, US President Trump tweeted on December 31, that the US-China trade deal would be signed in Washington on January 15 by “high level representatives of China”. In the same tweet, Trump announced he would be visiting Beijing "at a later date" to commence negotiations on phase two of the deal.
