CHINA-HEALTH EMERGENCY: CORONAVIRUS EPIDEMIC CASES

The Chinese magazine Caixin quoting official reports released on February 18 night revealed that confirmed cases of coronavirus in China had climbed to 72,531 with the official death toll reaching 1,871. Outside China, 896 confirmed cases and three deaths were reported in 25 countries. Liu Zhiming, 51, the head of Wuchang Hospital in Wuhan, died of the virus at 10:54 a.m. on February 18 according to a statement released by the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission.
