CHINA-LEADERSHIP: CHINESE PRESIDENT XI JINPING VISITS WUHAN FOR FIRST TIME SINCE OUTBREAK OF EPIDEMIC

Chinese President Xi Jinping on March 10, made his first visit to Wuhan, the city that has been hit hardest by the new virus epidemic. State media reported Xi Jinping arrived in the morning in Wuhan, which is currently under lockdown along with several nearby cities. State media showed him inspecting the epidemic prevention and control work and visiting medical workers, community volunteers, patients and others on the 'front lines'.
