CHINA-HEALTH EMERGENCY: 27 CHINESE PROVINCES RELAX RESTRICTIONS

At a press conference in Beijing on March 26, China's Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Xu Nanping, said that it is not yet time to summarize China ’s experience in science and technology against epidemics. He said there is still a lot of work to do, and there is still a lot to explore. At the same time, more Chinese provinces including Hubei lowered the alarm level with ebbing of the virus' outbreak. The Hubei provincial government lowered (March 25) the risk level for Wuhan to medium from high, indicating the city had fewer than 50 cases over the past two weeks. The rest of Hubei earlier adjusted the risk level to low. Heilongjiang province also adjusted its emergency response level joining 27 provinces and municipalities that have done so as the number of new cases declines. So far, only Hubei, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei maintain the highest level of response.
