CHINA-PLA: NEW MILITARY DISCIPLINE INSPECTION REGULATIONS

China National Defence News reported (March 23) that with the CMC's approval the CMC Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision issued the "Code of Daily Conduct for Party Members and Cadres in the Army Discipline Inspection and Supervision System". Its focus is on forging a loyal and clean role as the discipline inspection and supervision iron army, specifying 13 Specific regulations in all aspects, put forward "52 must not" rigid requirements. The "Standard" adheres to Chairman Xi's important statement for party members and cadres of the army's discipline inspection and supervision system to fulfil their original mission, to be loyal, clean, and daring warriors, and to provide daily codes of conduct. The "Standard" emphasizes that party members and cadres in the army's discipline inspection and supervision system must conscientiously implement the content of the standard and actively accept the supervision of officers and men. Disciplinary inspection and supervision organs at all levels must strictly educate and manage their personnel, promptly rectify and supervise rectification of emerging problems and tendencies. Violations of relevant requirements shall be investigated and punished strictly in accordance with regulations, disciplines and laws to ensure that the power given by the party and the people will not be abused, and the sword of punishment for evil and good will never be dusted.
