A Type-055 destroyer was launched at the Jiangnan Shipyard on April 28, 2020. 

On April 24, China announced the launch of its second amphibious assault ship at the Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, under China State Shipbuilding Corp. in Shanghai. Official reports said this indicated that construction of the second Type 075 amphibious assault ship,  also regarded as a landing dock for helicopters, has basically finished. The Science and Technology Daily had previously reported that the Type 075 is about 250 meters long, around 30 meters wide and will displace nearly 40,000 metric tons. Type 075 ships will extensively boost the PLA Navy's amphibious operational capability, according to Cui Yiliang, editor-in-chief of industry magazine Modern Ships.
