Xinhua (April 26) reported that Xi Jinping, "General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, State Chairman, Chairman of the Central Military Commission, and Director of the Central Comprehensive Deepening Reform Committee", chaired the 13th meeting of the Central Comprehensive Deepening Reform Committee on April 27 and delivered an "important" speech. He emphasised that China succeeded in controlling the epidemic and resuming production because of the Party's leadership and the advantages of China's socialist system. The meeting covered a range of subjects and those attending included Li Keqiang, Wang Huning and Han Zheng, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and deputy directors of the Central Committee for Comprehensive Deepening Reform.
