Xinhua (April 26) reported that PBSC member and CPPCC Chairman Wang Yang "recently investigated poverty alleviation in Yunnan and Guizhou". He emphasised the importance of Chinese President Xi Jinping's instructions on  poverty alleviation and said it is necessary to win the battle despite the damage caused by Covid-19.
