CHINA-LEADERSHIP: CHINA'S AMBASSADOR TO ISRAEL FOUND DEAD ON MAY 17

The Israeli media on May 17, reported that China's Ambassador to Israel Du Wei was found dead in his official residence in Herzliya on the morning of May 17. He was 58 years old. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed this, but the Chinese Embassy in Israel had not confirmed it till late morning of May 17. According to Ha'aretz, Du Wei's death was suspected to be a heart attack and he was found on his bed without any trace of violence. Jerusalem Post quoted the Israeli Army Radio (Army Radio)to say that there were no signs of violence at the scene.
