CHINA-INDIA: PLA TIBET MILITARY REGION STEPS UP MILITARY EXERCISES

A pro-Beijing Hong Kong media reported that the PLA Tibet Military Region has conducted joint exercises frequently during this time. The Tibet Military Region organized a coordinated exercise of 'Butan' in an area of more than 4,700 meters above sea level on June 14; a synthetic brigade of the Tibet Military Region organized an intensified training assessment for female soldiers of the unit on June 13; a regiment of the Lhasa Police District in Tibet organized a multi-course comprehensive exercise on June 10, and an integrated brigade reconnaissance unit of the military region conducted a post-enemy penetration and attack drill on June 2.
