CHINA-LEADERSHIP: NPC STANDING COMMITTEE SOLICITS COMMENTS FROM PUBLIC ON TWO BILLS BUT NOT ON LAW REGARDING HONGKONG

The NPC Standing Committee (NPCSC) is soliciting public comments on the draft 'Veterans Support Law' and draft 'Rural Revitalisation Promotion Law' through July 21, 2020. The draft Law on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has, however, not been released for public comment since the NPCSC will meet again on June 28 and will likely adopt that Law.
