The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission on July 6, 2020, reported that U.S. goods imports from China stood at $36.6 billion in May 2020, down 6.6 per cent year-on-year; the U.S. and that global demand for Chinese exports is likely to remain weak through the summer.
